Mai Vino | Pinot Noir | Curicó Valley, Chile
Earthy soul. Bagged brilliance.
This Pinot Noir from Chile’s Curicó Valley hits the sweet spot: light-bodied, peppery, and endlessly drinkable. Notes of blackberry, white pepper, and volcanic earthiness make it a red that plays well cold or at room temp.
The wine comes from organic grapes grown on original Burgundian rootstock, planted on volcanic basalt and limestone soils—aka, a cool climate dream for Pinot. After a 5-day cold soak, it ferments with wild yeast in concrete tanks and ages in neutral French oak for 9 months.
All that to say: this is Pinot with personality, minus the pretension. And in a 1.5L bag (equivalent to 2 bottles), it stays fresh for 30 days after opening.
