Ramona Ranch Winery is the only San Diego winery so far to achieve the California Sustainable Winegrowing certification.

Going beyond sustainability, Teri Kerns and Micole Moore cultivate a wide array of fruit trees and native plants that attract and support birds, insects, and wildlife. The National Wildlife Federation recognized the farm as a Certified Wildlife Habitat.

Grapes were first planted on the estate in 2006, the same year the Ramona Valley became an AVA. The winery currently produces around 1000 cases annually.
